In the automotive sector, Clayens NP Germany has established itself as a supplier for pumps in recent years. We have now set up the second automatization line for the production of plastic pump impellers with a directly over molded stator package. In addition to the stator package, a carbon sleeve, which serves as an impeller axle, is fed in and over molded fully automatically. The impeller of the pump is also made in two parts. The cover plate is welded onto the blades of the impeller in a second system cell in the line. We are using an ultrasonic process.

We are also continuing our grow in the manufacture of plastic pump housings and will purchase another injection molding machine in 2024 in order to be able to cover our customer requirements. As a specialized plastics processor for pump housings, we pay close attention to which diameters and levels need to be corrected according to the 3D point cloud during tool development in order to later ensure the sealing of the plastic coolant pump. Well-known plastic coolant pump manufacturers count on our expertise in this area of application.
